Toddler Program

The toddler years mark a period of rapid growth and development. Our program offers activities that encourage children to experiment, discover and learn about their environment. Toddlers are learning to:

  • Master physical skills like running, balancing, climbing, working simple puzzles and stringing beads
  • Use personal hygiene habits such as brushing their teeth, eating with utensils and washing their hands and face
  • Use basic manners
  • Form peer relationships
  • Enjoy short stories with more detail
  • Build beginning problem-solving skills
  • Follow simple directions and rules

Teachers provide theme-related activities that allow children to work on these skills while engaging in hands-on activities. Many activities focus on the natural world and are sensory-based.
